Tourism

I started photographing for the world of tourism in 1988 with a British company called Enterprise, going on then to be one of the principal photographers of the main Spanish and Balearic resorts when Enterprise, Falcon and others merged to become Owners Abroad, and then the big one; First Choice.

As well as working for almost all of the major UK tour operators for many years, along with several German, Swiss and Dutch ones, I also did a lot of work for some of the very large hotel chains in Spain throughout the 1990s and early 2000s.

My final stint was shooting a series of all-inclusive hotels in the Dominican Republic for First Choice before my return to the UK in 2004 saw me put down my camera for a few years to spend more time with my young son.

The fundamental nature of tourism and how people take holidays has changed at great speed since then, with many people using the internet to create their own bespoke packages. This has meant that my focus now is very much on the details and the quality of experience that the new breed of discerning traveller seeks out.

Whether you operate accommodation or an excursion, I would be very happy to discuss your needs and help you meet the challenges of tourism in the 2020s.
