Like most photographers, I have and use a drone. No doubt you’ll have seen the shots I’ve taken in the landscape section of this site.
One of my favourite uses though is taking “top down” shots. Images shot from directly above a subject allow the graphic lines and colours to really stand out.
This kind of drone shot can really tell a story. In this photo at Caleta de Velez from Sunday, there’s a clear and deliberate distinction between the working fishing boats on one side and the pleasure craft on the other.
